I am delighted to introduce my new range. This project has been over a year in the making. Each subject has been carefully selected and chosen with the idea to showcase the smaller, “lesser-known” yet exceedingly charming creatures of the bushveld. I’ve also selected certain animals that hold personal significance to the area in which I was born and raised, and currently reside (Upper Highway area, KZN). The birds I’ve chosen to feature are common to our local area and are most recognizable as everyday garden visitors, or species that can be found just on our doorstep, within one of our precious local reserves. All of the originals were painted as acrylic and/or gouache on paper. I plan to continue to add more subjects to this range.
